+  - `copyDir(src, dest)` now skips when `path.resolve(src) === path.resolve(dest)`.
+  - `copyFile(src, dest, ...)` now skips no-op self-copy operations for identical resolved paths.
+- This aligns with upstream TORCH fix notes for self-hosted installs where package root equals install target.
