Design System Audit Report - 2026-02-16

Headline: ✓ No critical violations (Found usages are foundational or dynamic)

1. Inline Styles / `.style` Usage

Found usage of .style property for dynamic updates in:

dashboard/index.html: bar.style.width (Dynamic progress bar)
landing/index.html: btn.style.borderColor, btn.style.color (Copy button feedback)

These appear to be sanctioned runtime helpers or necessary dynamic DOM manipulations. No static style="..." attributes found in source code.

2. Hex Colors

Found hex color definitions in dashboard/styles.css. These define the CSS variables (tokens) used throughout the application, so they are the source of truth, not violations.

3. Linting Status

npm run lint completed with warnings but no errors. Warnings related to unused variables in scripts/agent/smoke-test.mjs.

Next Steps

Continue monitoring for new inline styles.
Consider moving hex definitions to a dedicated tokens.css if styles.css grows too large.
Add specific design system lint rules if stricter enforcement is needed.
