Protocol Compliance Report - 2026-02-19

Summary

The current codebase adheres to the documented protocols in PROTOCOL_INVENTORY.md. A scan of the repository confirmed the usage of NIP-01, NIP-33, NIP-40, and NIP-78 features in src/lock-ops.mjs and src/lib.mjs.

Inventory Status

NIP-01: Compliant (Basic Protocol via nostr-tools)
NIP-33: Compliant (Parameterized Replaceable Events)
NIP-40: Compliant (Expiration Timestamp)
NIP-78: Compliant (Application-specific Data)
NIP-42: Not Implemented (Authentication)

Gaps & Risks

No new compliance gaps were identified. The implementation of NIP-42 (Authentication) remains a potential future requirement for relay access but is not currently used.

Recommendations

Continue monitoring nostr-tools updates for protocol changes.
Consider implementing NIP-42 if relay authentication becomes necessary.
