Fold July-2026 live-streaming watch UX into docs/live-ingest-plan.md: - Desktop cinematic layout: 16:9 player + collapsible chat side rail, host/ LIVE badge/viewer count below, theater + fullscreen, keyboard controls. - Mobile: player-top / chat-below, resizable chat overlay in fullscreen. - Live-specific: LIVE badge + viewer count, auto-scroll chat w/ pause-on-scroll, live vs ended seeking (VOD scrubber in Phase 4). - Latency reality baked in: HLS ~6-30s behind → chat runs ahead of video; don't promise low-latency. - bitvid angle: live zaps to the host (zap.stream-style) fit the existing zap system and can ship even before/with read-only chat. - Phase 2 now includes the cinematic layout; sources cited.
